Famous for its glamour and glitter New York City’s rising star DiVa DEE is quickly making a name for herself in the dance world and on NYC underground dance music scene. Spending her nights in the dance clubs and her days in her studio that even has a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, which I broke cause I was pissed.

With her love for going clubbing and listening to DJs play spin house music all night long, fate played its hand one night and she met Matthew Cesarano (a former VP of Artista Records).  She shared some of her music with Matt and he immediately responded by saying “Those are hit songs”.  He empowered her with endless encouragement and bought her new keyboards, drum machines, recording software and equipment.

In the beginning of the digital age of the music business, DiVa DEE released her first pop single “Come Stop BY” on Myspace.  It wasn’t long after that she was charting Top 10 with the biggest names on the Myspace Music NYC Club/Pop Charts everyday for years.  In 2009 she self produced an Electro/Urban/Pop album called “GLAMOUR N GRIME”. The tracks were rough and grimey catching the attention of a few major label producers who liked her urban/pop production style.  Back in the dance world, that same year veteran Brooklyn team of Rob Dale & DJ Sebastian remixed her sexually-charged dance floor killer “Come Stop By” on DeepSound Records. Her latest release also on Deep Sound Records is the electro-house underground smash hit “F**k Me on the Dancefloor.”  ClubLand and the Underground is having a love affair with the track.

Being a completely self taught artist, learning on the streets of New York City DiVa DEE has tried many facets of the entertainment business. She was a model, poet, stand up comedian, mixed media artist, video artist, graphic artist, fashion designer, dancer, songwriter, singer, producer…”When my instincts tell me to try something I do it, I always find myself wanting to try new things to know what it feels like..I find myself saying I wonder what it feels like to make a room full of people laugh or sing a hit song I wrote…I wanna try that”

Its was always more than just the music for DiVa DEE.  Always an artist with a creative idea or experiment she wants to try. She has developed a new art form called “Rococo Pop”.  A fusion blending 2 prior art eras from the 1800′s and the 1960′s using bright colors, glitter, angels and catchy sayings, Diva DEE is well on her way to introducing this new art form to the world.  Rococo Pop is expressed in music, fashion, art, stationary goods and interiors.

The New ART form of ROCOCO POP  has been REBORN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
